Anticipatory Design and the Future of Experience

Sarah Doody is a User Experience Designer & Product Strategist based in New York City. Sarah helps companies assess product ideas, understand customers, and design and launch products. For companies with a product already in market, she helps optimize the user experience through metrics, research. Sarah is passionate about helping people learn how to think like a designer, through writing, teaching, and speaking. Sarah created a popular weekly newsletter, The UX Notebook, and writes regularly for the design community. She also self-published her own design notebook, How To Think Like A Designer. Sarah created the curriculum for and taught General Assembly’s first 12-week UX immersive in 2011. More recently, Sarah created her own series of online UX courses including User Research Mastery and the UX Portfolio School. When not thinking about design, Sarah is training for her next marathon or planning her next trip.
