Corporate Partnership Manager

We are currently seeking a strategic and dynamic Corporate Partnership Manager with four or more years of experience. You are an innovative, collaborative, and self-motivated sales leader with experience in program management and sponsorship development. You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial role that works collaboratively. This is an opportunity to build something from the ground up and have a real time impact on the organization. You will:

  • promote and secure agreements with organizations 
  • directly identify, build, nurture, and manage relationships with key partners 
  • deliver comprehensive partnerships, event sponsorships, advertising, and affinity programs 
  • design ensure innovative, impactful partnership initiatives 

The position reports directly to Executive Leadership, and will manage the overall corporate relations, and development initiatives for AIGA, with focus on strategic alliances, partnerships, and corporate/industry member support. 


  • Develop and implement short and long-term revenue goals and objectives, adjusting accordingly, in support of AIGA’s mission and strategic plans  
  • Identify and implement strategies to identify and build future partnership opportunities 
  • Conduct prospecting research and subsequent outreach on potential new sponsor/partners
  • Collaborate with the Leadership team in creating and managing sales revenue strategy 
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team, to develop and prepare content for partnership marketing materials 
  • Prepare proposals, handle negotiations, draft agreements for approval ensuring alignment with organizational goals 
  • Provide planning, oversight and strategic guidance on current corporate relationships’ development and retention 
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of standard partnerships and sponsorships contracts
  • Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of deliverables to industry partners and sponsors
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods and cost, analyzing results and making recommendations for improvements   
  • Analyze member data to support sponsorship programming additions, changes and enhancements


  • Bachelor’s degree with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of 4+ years of sales experience, preferably in a professional/membership association or in design industry 
  • Demonstrated success cultivating and managing Business Development initiatives with business acumen
  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills, with a partnership-focused mindset
  • High degree of organizational skills to manage processes, systems, and timelines
  • Proficiency in sales tracking software (i.e. Salesforce, Pipedrive etc.)
  • Knowledge of sales best practices and current trends within industry 
  • Vision, energy, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Stellar interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Confidence to work well in a virtual/remote team environment 
  • Ability to travel to national AIGA offices, events and/or conferences and business development meetings, as needed

Director of Finance

We are currently seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Finance with seven or more years of financial and business analysis experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be strategic, analytical, creative, and focused with the drive to meet and exceed our annual revenue and growth goals by examining, recommending, and developing financial planning and business strategies.

As Director of Finance, you will assist with the development of AIGA’s financial direction and overall strategy. You will direct financial planning and analysis and while ensuring alignment with AIGA’s mission and goals.

Ideally, you have broad financial experience (financial strategy, accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting), successfully managed a finance department including managing audits, gathering and evaluating financial information, and can effectively make actionable recommendations to Leadership Teams to improve department’s effectiveness and productivity.

You make decisions and build strategies with a data-driven and analytical mindset. You are proficient and experienced with association management systems (Salesforce, Fonteva), have extensive experience with accounting software, enterprise resource planning tools and financial systems and are highly skilled in data management.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the overall strategic finance function
  • Work with BOD Finance Committee and Ethics & Audit Committee Manage and mentor 2 Finance department team members-Controller and Sr. Accountant
  • Conduct financial analysis on long-term planning and activities in areas including forecasting, budgeting, revenue growth and new offerings/ventures, and operational performance
  • Manage, review and monitors annual budget and forecasts Create and monitor short and long-term financial planning and performance
  • Engage with Leadership Team members to support cross-departmental collaboration that ensures all financial solutions positively support AIGA performance
  • Conduct financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure financial operations and business strategy
  • Conduct complex analyses and research to support business decisions utilizing statistical tools and scenario analysis, including external benchmarking

What We Require

  • Minimum of 7+ years of financial management-level experience, including financial planning and analysis experience at a large public company or a national non-profit with a strong background in accounting, tax, regulatory filing, and treasury functions
  • Experience with non-profits industry standards and best practices Bachelor’s degree with excellent analytical and communication skills, MBA or Masters in financial management strongly preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a collaborative mindset
  • Track record of success in delivering financial and operational business solutions
  • High degree of organizational skills to manage processes, systems, and timelines
  • Knowledge of financial best practices and current industry trends
  • Demonstrated success managing a finance department A driven, energetic, creative, and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Extensive computer proficiency, association management systems (Salesforce, Fonteva) Accounting system (NetSuite)
  • Proficient in and prior experience with enterprise resource planning tools and financial planning systems
