Office hours for support are 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET (Monday-Thursday), 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. ET (Fridays)
Please be mindful of these times near deadlines. Emails received after 5:00 p.m. ET and prior to midnight the day of a deadline will be reviewed and resolved the following morning and registrations/refunds will be honored. If contacting AIGA, emailed is preferred.

Registration
The 2025 AIGA Design Conference will be held in Los Angeles, California, at The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites.
Since conference rates are based on membership status at the time of registration, memberships are non-transferable. Tickets to the 2025 AIGA Design Conference are nonrefundable, but transferable to someone with the same membership type, less a $50 processing fee. If you wish to transfer a ticket, the original ticketholder must first find a replacement and then email both parties’ details to [email protected].

Ticket pricing will follow a tiered system based on both time and availability. Member and Non-Member tickets will follow a timed price increase for the following dates:
May 19: Early Bird Deadline
July 19: Regular Deadline
September 30: Last Minute Deadline Extended to October 3
This year, AIGA is introducing a new, simplified pricing model with a deeply discounted rate available to AIGA Members who are Students, Educators, Non-Profit Professionals, or Government employees. These rates are designed to make the conference more accessible for those contributing to design through education, public service, and mission-driven work. These significantly reduced rates will not have a price increase, however, there is a limited quantity. Once they are sold out, attendees will need to register at the Member rate.
We encourage you to register early to secure the best rate. The last in-person AIGA Design Conference sold out, so don’t wait!
We offer discounted group rates for organizations registering three or more people:
- 3 to 5 attendees: 5% discount
- 6 to 9 attendees: 7% discount
- 10 or more attendees: 10% discount

Conference registration includes access to all official sessions, Friday’s Happy Hour, breakfasts, and breaks.

If you prefer to register by mail or pay offline with the assistance of an AIGA representative, an invoice can be created by request: please email [email protected]; a $25 per-person conference registration processing fee applies.
The only student discount available is for active AIGA members at the Student level. We invite students to join our organization and become ongoing members to take advantage of this and a variety of other membership benefits here.
All sessions will be recorded, and attendees will receive complimentary access to the recordings after the conference. For non-attendees, the sessions will be available for purchase after the event.
There is value in AIGA membership, including discounts to the AIGA Design Conference. Use our Convince Your Boss letter to advocate for your professional development (and don’t forget to put in a good word for your colleagues too!).
AIGA will recruit current members to serve as volunteer Conference Associates to help with on-site event management at the 2025 AIGA Design Conference in Los Angeles. Conference Associates work approximately 15 hours throughout the conference and can attend conference sessions for free when not working. Please note that conference associates will be responsible for coordinating their travel to and from the conference.
For the 2025 AIGA Design Conference, we're seeking proposals that resonate with our theme for this year: "Design + Performance." Design is never just what we make, it’s how we show up. Design + Performance explores how we shape perceptions, make an impression, and bring ideas to life in collaboration with others. From the choreography of a critique to the drama of a pitch, from navigating chaos to closing a business deal, design is a performative act. This theme invites us to explore the rituals, gestures, and dynamics that drive our creative practice and ask: How do we perform design, and how do we design for performance? We invite industry professionals, educators, and graduate students to submit proposals that connect with this theme.
The request for proposals closed on March 31, 2025.
Keynote speakers typically receive full travel assistance. For all other session formats, travel support will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis as ticket sales and sponsorship negotiations progress.
