Anil is one of the most prominent advocates for ethical and inclusive technology, and hosts Function, a Vox Media podcast exploring how tech shapes culture. He advised the Obama White House’s Office of Digital Strategy, was formerly a contributing editor of Wired, and was described by The New Yorker as a “blogging pioneer” for his Webby-recognized personal website. Anil collaborated with Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda to create one of the most popular Spotify playlists of 2018, and @anildash is the only Twitter account ever re-tweeted by both Bill Gates and Prince, succinctly encapsulating Anil’s interests.
