Observing is not acting

Observing is not acting

Chapter Washington DC
Artist Statement After elections of any sort, you see and hear people both physically and verbally angry about whatever the outcome was. Half of the time, those people did not actually participate in the election. Their anger is unfounded because they didn't do anything to prevent their undesired outcome. This poster aims to illustrate that "Observing is not acting." Meaning that, if you simply sit back and watch the election unfold without participating, and then you are ultimately upset with the outcome, you have no right to express your anger. This concept is abstracted through the illustration and also reiterated in a clear and concise fashion to make sure that the point is communicated effectively.
