About Me

I’m a senior graphic designer that appreciates conceptual art, literature and a nice cup of tea.

The unreal is more powerful than the real, because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it, because it's only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles, wood rots. People, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on (Chuck Palahniuk). I fully believe that all design work should have a concept. As my favorite author Chuck Palahniuk wrote a concept lives on. That's why i believe it's so important to have strong conceptual ideas in your design, especially in logos and ads. These two are my favorite things to work on. If your logo and your ads don't tell you anything than they won’t be memorable, they won't live on forever.

I've been a graphic designer for 10 years. I love looking at the blank screen like a white canvas and letting it inspire me to create something beautiful, something that speaks to people. Letterheads, business cards, invitations and even annual reports are great to work on because they're printed pieces that people keep around for a while and for a moment your creation is in their hands and their minds. As Confucius said "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
