AIGA’s In-house INitiative
INitiative: INsights to help INhouse design teams thrive
More than half of all professional designers in the United States are employed full-time by corporations and organizations. To address the unique opportunities and challenges faced by this in-house community, AIGA has partnered with The Creative
Group (TCG) to form “INitiative,” a program to help in-house designers make a greater impact at their companies, evolve
professionally and connect with a broader network of peers. INitiative will deliver inspiration, advice and
insights via online channels and in-person events:
- INform e-newsletter: AIGA members can sign up on My AIGA for a quarterly in-house newsletter highlighting new stories, opinion pieces, profiles and upcoming INitiative events.
- INformation and expertise: Look below for a growing collection of articles and advice for in-house designers and the companies where they work.
- INspiring videos: INitiative affinity sessions and workshops at the “Pivot: AIGA Design Conference” featured renowned authorities on in-house design topics.
- INitiative events: In 2013, AIGA will
host INitiative events across the country to address industry-wide solutions and
innovations, as well as regional “boot camps” geared toward in-house
managers.
