Bio Doris Short credits her Scandinavian design heritage as the inspiration and influence for her success with her passion for art and design and branding global organizations. With more than 20 years of experience in management, strategic design, brand strategy and communication for clients around the world, Doris worked with brands including Hewlett Packard, Robert Morris University and GlaxoSmithKline, where she developed the redesign of more than 15 global brands including TUMS, Aquafresh, Nicorette, Citrucel and Oscal. Combining her passion for design with teaching young adults in the creative arts, Doris has developed and implemented numerous arts programs in Pittsburgh and has acted as a consultant to regional colleges for her expertise in the creative arts and graphic design development. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at Robert Morris University and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh teaching graphic design and advertising. Doris is President Emeritus of AIGA Pittsburgh, the largest professional association for design in the world. Doris continues to serve on the AIGA Pittsburgh Advisory Board, being involved planning activities that advocate the value of design in the Pittsburgh region. Prior to working in The United States, Doris worked in her native Copenhagen, Denmark, with organizations such as H&M and Esprit. Doris earned a degree in fashion and a minor in business in Copenhagen, Denmark and holds a degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institute and a minor in Graphic Communications.
