Erik A. Evensen  is a visual communication designer with expertise in graphic design, illustration, and concept visualization. He is on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin–Stout, where he teaches interdisciplinary studio courses in digital imaging, design drawing & visualization, illustration, and design methodology & research. His graphic novels have been featured at the Field Museum of Natural History and the Wexner Center for the Arts, and adopted as textbooks at James Madison University, Marshall University, and Gustavus Adolphus College. His varied creative work has been featured online at AV Club, Nerdist.com, and Geek & Sundry, and in print in Graphic Design USA and the Washington Post.
