Brand and identity

Melissa has more than a decade of experience designing print and digital communications for clients such as Hudson Whitman Press, the New Jersey State Museum, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Siena College. Before joining CCA, Melissa was assistant director of marketing and creative services at Albany Law School, where she worked on all aspects of the school’s communications ranging from integrated enrollment campaigns, alumni communications and fundraising campaigns to daily updates on the website. Prior to her time at Albany Law, Melissa was immersed in the world of publishing—where she created award-winning book designs , illustrated books for Macmillan and Wiley and even edited a few New York Times bestsellers.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Melissa studied at Hampshire College before earning a B.S. in Electronic Media, Arts & Communication (with honors) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. When not working, Melissa can be found working on her home and spends as much time as she can creating monoprints and letterpress posters.
