Speaker bio

Zach Overton received his B.F.A. from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. After graduation he joined Broadway.com the premiere destination for theater news and ticketing where he worked his way up to director of operations. In 2006 Overton moved to London in the role of managing director of Theatre.com the sister company of Broadway.com. In 2008 Overton returned to New York City as the vice president of marketing at Broadway.com where he successfully grew their ad sales division and led the team in redesigning their website and user experience.

In 2010 Overton joined Gilt Groupe the innovative luxury ecommerce company as they launched their local experiences and services division Gilt City.  As general manager of the entertainment group Overton conceived and built the entertainment division. Partnering with industry leaders including Ticketmaster Lady Gaga Warner Brothers ABC Cirque du Soleil the Black Eyed Peas and more Overton quickly established Gilt as an innovative marketing and ecommerce platform for sports theater film television and family entertainment. 

Overton is currently the chief operating officer of (RED) where we he also leads business development driving innovative partnerships with brands including Bank of America Theory Live Nation and AMC Cinemas as well as campaigns including EAT (RED) SAVE LIVES. Created by Bono and Bobby Shriver (RED) brings brands and people together to help eliminate AIDS in Africa. (RED) works with iconic brands such as Apple Starbucks Coca Cola  and Belvedere & Beats to create (PRODUCT)RED products services or actions that trigger contributions to fight AIDS in Africa. Since launching in 2006 (RED) partners and events have raised over $300 million impacting the lives of more than 55 million people.
