“If your dream design studio isn't hiring, what are some things you can do to stay on their radar for when they are?” —@_katiewestbrook

All businesses are looking for exceptional people (even if they don't admit it). I've encountered companies that weren't hiring or even looking, but made a hire once they met with talented and culturally aware creatives. In order to stay on their radar, you really need to be immersed in the lifestyle of design constantly. This includes producing fresh work, having side projects, going to industry events and collaborating with other members of the design community. An active, up-to-date online presence will also maximize your exposure to the places where you'd like to work, often times indirectly through the people you meet in the industry.
