Artist Statement Not 100 years have passed since American women were granted the right to vote by ratification of the 19th Amendment—“The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.” This year, a woman candidate represents one of our two major political parties. We stand on the precipice of history. Get the vote out!
