Artist Statement This poster incourages all kinds of people to vote. People of different race and gender specifically. I think two of the biggest issues in America are gender equality and racism. People need to realize that each of us have one vote that counts EQUALLY as much as anyones vote. It is an American right and duty to vote and people need to realize that America has made it a long way. There was a time when African American men could not vote. There was a time when woman could not vote. These times are behind us and it is so important to go and vote, for the people that fought for us to have these rights but also for the people that will come after us. I made this poster to influence people to vote and to help people realize that voting is totally up to you and it is literally in your own hands. No matter what color your skin is, what gender you are, where you are from, or what you believe in. Vote.
