Power to Act

Power to Act
Submitted By Laura Fortner
Chapter Washington DC
Artist Statement As adults, we have responsibilities that are never-ending. We buy groceries, go to the doctor, pay bills, clean the house, work most every day, wash dishes and clothes, and it continues. It is too easy to feel detached from our government, from the imposing buildings that house this country's leaders, but we are not removed from them. We act every day. For ourselves and our livelihood. Voting is an action we cannot ignore.
