Justin Ahrens has led his creative firm, Rule29, for over 16 years in its commitment to “Making Creative Matter®” through great design and challenging others think differently about the world. Rule29’s culture is just as important as the work it creates; the firm is involved in many social causes, including substantial work in Africa. He has been a consistent voice for the design and business community in areas around social design and work/life balance, which he has spoken about at a previous AIGA Design Conference, Design Thinkers, Adobe Max, Brand New, and HOW, and has written about in his book, Life Kerning™: Creative Ways to Fine Tune Your Perspective on Career and Life.

Sarah Ahrens is the glue that holds creative firm Rule29’s financial framework together. Bringing over 15 years of financial and project management experience to the team, Sarah makes sure that Rule29 remains responsible to both clients and partners. Matching her financial skills and talents with the capabilities of Rule29’s designers, Sarah keeps the firm running at peak performance.
