Are there membership requirements to participate?

No, you do not need to be a member of AIGA to participate. You must however, have a account to submit to our gallery, you can make an account for free here.

How does this Differ from previous GOTV campaigns?

We asking designers to submit social media graphics that will not only be displayed on our gallery at, but shares through our partner’s channels and the thousands of nonprofits in their network, especially around National Voters registration Day (NVRD, September 25, 2018)

What kind of submissions are you looking for?

We are looking for original, intelligent, impactful, accessible messaging that targets specific demographics. We are looking to reach communities that have been historically disenfranchised from their riots to vote. Language diversity is welcome. You can find helpful background information here.

What is the correct file format?

1200x900 pixels, on a horizontal canvas Saved as RGB color format at 300 dpi, and as a .jpg or .mp4 file

Why must my Submission be Nonpartisan?

We are a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization. This means we can’t endorse or donate to candidates or use materials that reflect a preference or distaste for a specific political party or candidate. You can find more detailed guidelines here. 

Why is my submission not on the gallery?

If your submission does not meet the required format, or is partisan it will not be included in our gallery. You will receive a “submission disapproved” email should this be the case.

What are the deadlines?

To be featured in Times Square NYCxDESIGN May 12-20: April 30, 11:59pm PST

Project 1324: Building Community Power Challenge: April 30, 2:00pm EDT

Final Deadline: November 4, 2018
