Bio

I’m a Holland-dwelling father of two with thousands of miles on my bicycle. I graduated Alma College and have worked as a chef and a scholar prior to taking on entrepreneurial pursuits. You can call me Bill.

I get organizations—large and small, established and brand new—to think big, be consistent and get moving. Your idea needs to go further than a scribble on a napkin and be more tangible than a high-level concept. To do that, you need to take the next wonderfully exciting, woefully terrifying step. That’s where my expertise lies.

Some of my current notable projects include co-founder of HUB Grand Rapids, lead organizer of TEDxGrandRapids 2013 and the Frederik Meijer Endowed Honors Chair in Entrepreneurship and Innovation with Grand Valley State University. I was the founding executive director of ArtPrize for two and a half years while working as president of Pomegranate Studios.
