Bio

Todd Anderson is a multiple-award winning British designer, currently based in Cape Town. He has an extensive international career, developing innovative brand and packaging solutions with a variety of clients; partnering with some of the world’s largest retailers, alongside nurturing smaller companies just starting out.

Winning the ‘New Designer Award' launched his career, which commenced at Habitat, creating branding and packaging design. Later with Future Publishing, he played a significant role in the launch and rebranding of a number of longstanding technology magazines and then worked for Village Design agency on several national print and branding campaigns.

Employment as an art director with Somerset Creative commenced in 2002. There, alongside two other colleagues, Todd grew the design studio of the company that subsequently ranked 12th fastest growing UK company in the Sunday Times Fast Track Awards and won the prestigious Queen's Award. This role also allowed him to personally win a National Business Award for ‘The Best Use of Technology’ and become a finalist for 'The Orange Award for Bright Business.

2009 brought a creative directorship and relocation to Cape Town where design partnerships and great products and brands have been made with some of the worlds largest retailers. As part of The Cape Town Toiletry Company, he plays a client facing and design role across the span of brand and packaging design, product development, project management and print production.

Consequently Todd's portfolio illustrates a distinctive career. Clearly evident is his awareness of global trends together with a knowledge and understanding of brand strategy and consumer behaviour. His cutting-edge design aesthetics, solid typography, chromatic skills and acute eye for detail demonstrate an enthusiasm for design and general zest for life!
