that have resulted in an unprecedented growth of top line revenues.
Murali’s well-rounded professional approach comes from his unique educational background. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), he has a keen understanding of the creative and business sides that drive success
in the marketing world.
In his position at Chartwells Higher Education, a division of $1.2 billion global contract food service company Compass Group, Murali expanded upon a comprehensive brand strategy that differentiated the organization in an increasingly competitive industry.
He has worked on creative and tactical campaigns with multi-functional teams in Higher Education, Business & Industry and Convenience Retail which has resulted in a solid understanding of the ever-changing food service industry. Murali has also held marketing
and creative roles at Lowes Home Improvement, where he led a team of designers, production artists, copywriters, marketing specialists and content specialists in their respective categories.
Murali has attained many awards and accolades in marketing and design. Few of his achievements include: Lowe’s Marketing Campaign Award 2007 and 2006, Honorable mention by Addy Awards 2006, Compass Group’s Be-A-Star North America Associate of the Year 2005
and Best Print Campaign by Communicator Magazine 2005.
As an avid epicurean, Murali continues to share his perspective and expertise to small restaurant businesses in the Boston area. He plans on developing tools and practices that creates increased exposure for small business and would challenge the food community
in Boston to redefine the status-quo.
