Prior to receiving my BFA in graphic design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD-Atlanta), I received an Associates in Arts degree from Valencia Community College, Orlando. Valencia’s general studies program provided a balanced education between the sciences and the arts. SCAD’s graphic design program has allowed for a diverse education in the field of design. We focused on identity, environment, packaging and promotions, poster, information, magazine, book, brochure, stationery, and team-driven projects. I have been exposed to the professional experience of working with demanding clientele, constructing influential presentations, and executing concepts in a timely manner. I am drawn towards the printing side of graphic design, particularly packaging and three-dimensional work.

Today he runs his studio, Cubanica, teaches typography and communication design to undergraduate students at Parsons the New School for Design, and has gotten into filmmaking, too.
