William Drenttel is a partner at Winterhouse, a design studio in northwest Connecticut, and a founding editor of Design Observer, the online forum for design criticism and commentary. He is president emeritus of the AIGA, a trustee of the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, and a fellow of the New York Institute of the Humanities at New York University.
