Congratulations and welcome to our new CAC members and the new Incoming President’s Council Chair.

The AIGA Chapter Advisory Council (CAC) connects local board members with the AIGA Board, its staff, and the national design community. Beginning in 2020, AIGA Chapter Advisory Council members are elected by their respective regions and serve staggered two-year terms. The CAC Chair will serve until June 30, 2021, and the Incoming CAC representatives will serve until June 30, 2022. More information about the CAC.

The Presidents’ Council comprises all currently active presidents in good standing at local AIGA chapters. The Presidents’ Council connects the work of local chapters with national communities, councils, and task forces, as well as the AIGA Board and its staff. The Presidents’ Council is led by a Chair and an Incoming Chair who serve staggering two-year terms. The Incoming Chair becomes the Chair after their first year of service. The Chair also sits as a voting member of the AIGA Board. The Incoming Presidents’ Council Chair will serve until June 30, 2021, then automatically begin a term on the AIGA Board as Presidents’ Council Chair on July 1, 2021 and serve in that role until June 30, 2022.
