Ann Ford is an Associate Professor at Virginia State University where she teaches courses in graphic design, typography and graphic design history. She holds an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Design / Visual Communications.
In addition to her academic position, she is principal and creative director for her firm, Chambers Design. She is the author of two books on package design, 100s Visual Ideas: Packaging and Labels and Packaging Templates: Paper Engineering for Professionals, published by Angela Patchell Books and Vizebooks.
When she is not teaching, designing and writing books, she spends her time with her, almost one-year-old grandson, Simon.
