Brand and identity
I am a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Visual Communication Design at the Herron School of Art + Design. I was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN, where I found a passion for community service and people-centered design projects around the city. As a deep thinker concerned about my community and its future, I always contemplate how my art and design talents fit into invoking positive action. Everyday, I witness how my own communities are victimized by harmful issues lacking immediate attention. My ultimate goal is to find opportunities where I can apply art and design towards ending threatening issues such as gun violence, climate change, and insufficient access to healthcare. Uplifting our communities through art—which has the power to touch hearts, stir emotions, and influence people to think differently—as well as design—which delivers useful, usable, and pleasurable solutions to socio-economic problems—will initiate a brighter, thriving Indianapolis.
