Herb Vincent Peterson, an award-winning multidisciplinary artist, creative director-designer, and assistant professor & coordinator of graphic design at Indiana Wesleyan University. Peterson fuses social responsibility & community, design research & methods, design thinking & conceptual art making in his teaching and studio practice. Peterson has taught at Ohio Dominican University, The Ohio State University, and Herron School of Art and Design, and he has served as a creative director for the internationally known art and design studios of Linda Adele Goodine, Michael Mercil, and MacArthur Fellow Ann Hamilton.
Peterson holds a BFA from Herron School of Art and Design where he studied Photography and Visual Communication Design and an MFA from The Ohio State University. His work has been featured in numerous national and international magazines, books, and exhibitions at venues such as The Wexner Center for the Arts, The Indianapolis Museum of Art, Elizabeth Gallery, Modern Art Oxford, Art-Basel Miami, Scope Art Fair, Rife Gallery, Kuhn Fine Arts Gallery, Connor Contemporary and has representation at Sean Christopher Gallery.
