|Description||Staring at your phone can be a source of comfort, a way to distract oneself from life's realities, or it can be a way to reach out to others. Instead of focusing on the negative, my goal was to first create an image that would encourage the viewer to let their guard down through seeing a familiar object: the mobile phone. Then I aimed to humanize the election through the personification of the United States as an actual contact, chatting with the viewer. Keeping the bipartisan tone, I decided to use a purple color scheme to show the mix between Conservative Red and Liberal Blue. The use of flat design was a conscious choice to emphasize the immediacy of the present by evoking a modern trend. Oh who am I kidding. Go vote and make America proud!|
