Become this year's AIGA St. Louis Design Scholar! Applications
are open to students currently pursuing an undergraduate or
graduate degree in the design, art, or digital media disciplines.
The scholarship is intended for students currently enrolled in a
part-time or full-time post-secondary program at an accredited
community college or university.
The AIGA Design Scholarship will be awarded to the chosen
applicant at the AIGA Student Conference on March 2nd, 2013. The
winner will be invited to attend the conference at no cost to
themselves, but will be asked to appear at the conference in person
to receive the award.

Student Requirements
1. Are you available to attend the AIGA St. Louis Student
Conference on March 2nd, 2013 at Maryville University?
2. Please list any employment experience, volunteer experience, or
other work relevant to your field of study that is not already
mentioned in your transcript.
3. Essay: In 500 words or less please answer the following
question, "What do you hope to accomplish with your education in a
creative field?"
4. Your Portfolio - You are required to submit 4 of your best
design works. Submitted pieces may be print, interactive, motion
graphics, or 3D (such as a brochure, packaging design, etc). If you
are an AIGA member, you may use the AIGA portfolio site, or you may
use any other portfolio hosting site of your choosing. Please
provide a link or a series of links to the website or individual
web pages that show the four works online.
5. Letter of Recommendation: Enter the name and e-mail address of
an instructor, counselor, advisor, supervisor or other similarly
qualified individual who will submit a letter of recommendation on
your behalf. NOTE: As the applicant, it is your responsibility to
inform that person to watch for an email sent on your behalf that
will explain how to complete the process.
