  • Design For Good Poster Show - Call for Entries

    Birmingham

We are accepting entries for the AIGA Birmingham Design for Good Poster Show. Design for Good is a platform to build and sustain the implementation of design thinking for social change. This platform creates opportunities for designers to build their practice, their network, and their visibility. All submissions must communicate a positive social impact. Submissions must have been created within the last two years (since September 2010).

Submit your work digitally via email, then we will print it at 11" x 17" and it be shown during our 25th anniversary reception at Parkside Cafe in Birmingham October 4th. All entries must be submitted by Sept 29.

The entry fee is $25.00 for non members and $20 for members, and this entry/donation will do a great deal to allow AIGA Birmingham to continue its legacy as foundation and inspiration for design and community in the years to come. All pieces will be judged by Luba Lukova. Along with terrific support and acclaim from and by fellow designers, the winner will receive the Adobe CS6 Suite valued at over $1500.

AIGA Birmingham celebrates, Thursday October 4th, twenty-five years of promoting design excellence, and serving the local and regional design community. We invite you to join us in recognizing the accomplishments, growth, and the evolution of our Birmingham chapter, by submitting a poster communicating "Design For Good", a foremost commitment of today's American Institute of Graphic Arts.
