Have We Lost The Human Touch?
In today's world of design software, email, and social media,
did we give up something along the way? At Say Anything in August,
we will talk about introducing more handmade work into our designs
to help us differentiate ourselves creatively. We will also discuss
interacting with our clients (and coworkers) in a more personal way
(in-person, telephone, teleconferencing, and videos). Come share
ways to build better relationships through personal interaction?or
we can all just Tweet each other about it.
About Say Anything
Say Anything is a small roundtable discussion (capped at 12
attendees) where designers can discuss a variety of topics
revolving around design and the business of design. Topics vary
month-to-month and cover many aspects of running a design business,
being a designer, and staying current in the ever-changing world of
design. This event is free to AIGA members. Open to anyone else
interested in joining the discussion for $5.
