arts world, so many continue to stereotype the careers of this
unique subculture. Now is the time to step-up and show Metro
Detroit all that local LGBT Americans have contributed to the
applied arts world. Welcome to 'Beyond the Bar,' Detroit's LGBT
design showcase.

Join us as we celebrate an amazing collection of applied arts,
during the opening reception at the Affirmations center.
Appetizers, wine and beer, will accompany this showcase; along with
musical selections form some of the area's finest DJs.
