Survey about (un)ethical graphic design
I'm looking for graphic designers from all over the world to give their personal view about the subject. The survey is part of my thesis for the University of art and design of Helsinki (Finland).
Filling the form takes just a couple of minutes but perhaps before doing it you could think about what the subject means to you and in what kind of work related situations you've had or would have ethical problems.
Feel free to spread the word!
Too much. I need a pencil, stat.
I am looking to pick a brain about developing an app that houses multiple titled publications. We are a small in-house firm with a smaller budget and work on PC platform. We don't have the staff to layout multiple versions of the publication so it would
essentially be a .pdf reader with little to no interactivity. We would like the issues to be password protected. Has anyone done this before?
Design is only as relevant as you make it....
.... so what's relevant?
I'm wondering if anyone is using an ipad to show their portfolio during interviews. It seems the norm is to still have a printed book but I'm tired of spending $$$ everytime I have to update my portfolio.
I love seeing animators experiment with unusual materials to create stop motion projects. The music video for Tame Impala's pretty song, "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards," is a good example. It was made by Becky Sloan and Joseph Pelling using a lot of plasticine collages.
