Mike Joosse, AIGA presidents council representative, honors this year’s Fellows—21 named from across the country—who began as members, designers, teachers, writers, directors, principals, colleagues, friends, activists and passionate advocates, driven by the power of good design in our everyday lives. All past and present Fellows in attendance are invited at once to come up on stage. The 2008 Fellows, in order of appearance, include: Christopher Leichty, Michael Hendrix, Jilly Simmons, Art Paul, Kenneth Botts, Tim Smith, Antonio Alcalá, Doug Kisor, Paula Savage Hansen, Jim Watson, Joseph Banuelos, Frank Baseman, Reed Agnew, Don Moyer, Grant Smith, Thomas Ingalls, Jennifer Morla, MaeLin Levine, Ron Miriello, Terry Marks and Scott Gericke.
