AIGA Leadership Retreat 2010

The annual AIGA Leadership Retreat is an invitation-only event for chapter board members (by definition current AIGA members) to gather together, share successes of the past year and plan for the future. The event offers an opportunity to hear about what’s happening nationally as well as what other chapters are doing. Delegates from all 64 AIGA chapters assemble to build leadership skills and community.

It’s a time for motivation, inspiration and rejuvenation for AIGA’s most active volunteers—the local board members who work so tirelessly to ensure that the AIGA experience at the local level is the best it can be.

Registration

Registration guidelines will be available in early 2010. For the retreat to be successful:

• Each chapter should send at least one board member to the retreat.
• Each chapter should select board representatives who will prepare for the retreat in advance and participate actively.
• Attendees are strongly encouraged to share the experience with others who did not attend the retreat when they return home.

The 2010 Leadership Retreat will be held June 3–5 at The Chattanoogan Hotel. Chattanooga offers an exciting selection of attractions, activities and events so plan on arriving early or staying late!

Ground transportation and directions

The Chattanooga Airport is located 15 miles from the Chattanoogan Hotel.

Taxi: One-way fare is approximately $28.
