DFTV.002 was the second AIGA conference devoted to the subject of design for film and television. DFTV.001 (March 1999) succeeded in mapping out the territory of the nascent profession and introducing some of the key practitioners and commentators. In 2001, the work of some of the most exciting directors and designers was again showcased as the conference took on the changing roles of the designer in the evolving field of time-related design, examined the current scene and explored the relationship between those roles and that scene.
