A one-day seminar in the DMI Professional Development Program.
A design brief, also often called a creative brief, is the most essential ingredient for any major design project. However, it is often one of the least understood documents among the various stakeholders involved in a design project.
A well-crafted brief can actually shorten the time it takes to execute the design process, and also make the process of having a design solution approved much easier. Who should “own” or take accountability for a design brief? Do I need to develop a design brief for every design project? What is the primary reason for being of a design brief? Should it be a living document that is updated frequently? These are only a few of the questions about design briefs, which are fully addressed in this highly popular seminar.
Taught by Peter Phillips, strategy consultant, and author of “Creating the Perfect Design Brief.”
