About AIGA Design Press
The AIGA Press is committed to stimulating thinking at the intersection of design, business and culture. The Press is a partnership with New Riders Publishing as a means of extending AIGA's traditional role in advancing the art, practice and theory of design. With rigor and enthusiasm, The Press will embrace new fields, uncover powerful modes of inquiry and pursue excellence in design thinking.
Historically, AIGA has played an important role in helping designers evolve the profession through sharing experiences and supporting and promoting design's key thinkers. The Press selects new work to help designers to keep current with the ideas of seminal thinkers and innovators. These authors are frequently speakers at AIGA events or active opinion leaders within AIGA's broadly defined design profession. The work carries a joint AIGA and New Riders publishing mark.
In the 21st century, design is more critical than ever before in driving the economy, affecting change and increasing communication within our societies.
