With just over two weeks to go and only 75 seats remaining, act now to reserve yours!
“Gain,” one of the first conferences to concentrate on business and design, has received critical praise and continues to produce much of the industry’s most provocative content. By remaining small—only 650 attendees—the conference allows you to participate in an intimate networking environment perfect for forging meaningful relationships.

Still need to justify “Gain” to your boss?
You’ll gain the hard-earned experience of more than a dozen success stories and take away lessons that apply to your business. With case studies from business and design leaders, your organization can tap the value of design by integrating it into your business culture. You’ll start thinking from new perspectives to assure that your firm stands out in the rising economy.

Why should your clients attend?
Effective differentiation, most likely from design, will be a driving force in a competitive global economy. Business leaders and designers need to ride the wave toward creating value together.

Tom Kelley, general manager, IDEO, will moderate “Gain.” For a complete list of presentations, speakers, conference information and to register, visit the conference website at gainconference.aiga.org. Limited spaces are still available for pre-conference workshops and studio tours.

Design Legends Gala—ticket deadline is Friday, October 20!
Right before “Gain,” celebrate design excellence at the third-annual Design Legends Gala in New York City. This special black-tie event will honor the 2006 AIGA Medalists Michael Bierut, Pentagram Design, New York; Rick Valicenti, Thirst/3ST, Chicago; and Lorraine Wild, Green Dragon Office, Los Angeles; the 2006 Corporate Leadership Award honorees, Target and MTV Networks, a Viacom Company; the 2006 Fellows; the winners of the 2006 Winterhouse AIGA Design Writing and Criticism Awards. This evening also offers an opportunity for designers to contribute to the ongoing celebration of design excellence.
