Designers connect at “Make/Think”
Memphis was the site of an extraordinary gathering of 1,500 designers last week for “Make/Think: AIGA Design Conference” as designers connected with each other, with ideas, and with the power of the community. From Stefan Bucher making and sharing scores of monsters to Bennington College president Elizabeth Coleman elaborating on the importance of engagement to getting the chance to print with Hatch Show Print, those in attendance participated in three days of enriching, entertaining, educational and meaningful programming and experiences. To relive the experience—or if you missed it, catch what was discussed—check out the Make/Think Live Blog, presented by Mohawk Fine Papers.
Videos of the main stage presenters, episodes of “Command X: Season 2” and selected affinity session presentations will be released on the AIGA site in a few weeks.
