Image, Space, Object 3: Above Brand
Creating Innovative User Experiences
Rocky Mountain/High Ground and AIGA present an interdisciplinary design workshop in Denver, Colorado
August 10-13, 2006

For three days this summer, immerse yourself in the ultimate interdisciplinary and collaborative design workshop, working closely with the world’s top design innovators at the foot of the Rockies.

Designing innovation requires a combination of understanding, inspiration and communication, so this workshop is an active, hands-on experience to give you the effective design tools and strategic brand methods to enhance and inspire your design process.

As you convert theory into practice, you’ll learn how to create the next level of tomorrow's brand experience in which images, spaces and objects work together in a physical and informational environment.

Register now! A limited number of participants will have the opportunity to work intimately with the following designers:

  • Chris Conley, director of product design, Institute of Design, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago
  • Moira Cullen, design director, Coca-Cola North America
  • Hugh Graham, Hugh Graham Creative
  • Chris Hacker, design director, Johnson & Johnson
  • Dr. Rick Robinson, co-founder, E-Lab, design director, Sapient
  • Tucker Viemeister, vice president, creative, Rockwell Group

Program
Each morning, designers will present on research, modeling, storytelling, team ideation and experiential prototyping. Afternoons are dedicated to small studio teamwork, where the presenters will also act as studio mentors.

Michael McCoy will serve as the master of ceremonies. Katherine McCoy and Fred Murrell will pop up at appropriate moments and dispense wit, wisdom and direction.

Sign up by June 1 for a discounted registration! For Colorado designers, a special morning presentation-only registration is available.
