Your conference registration includes admission to all main stage sessions, breakout sessions, the Emerging Designers Symposium, the Design Fair, and all evening events. Pre- and post-conference events may require separate additional fees; details will be available in summer 2016.
The Mirage Las Vegas will be the venue for Design Conference and AIGA has partnered with the hotel for discounted guest rooms. The Mirage has held these rooms expressly for conference attendees, and AIGA is obligated to fill the block. Thank you for supporting AIGA by staying at the Mirage.
The discounted rate is only available by mentioning group code AIGA16A when making your reservation by phone. You can also make your reservations online.
The special rates are available until the block sells out or September 23, whichever comes first. After September 23, or when the block sells out, availability and rates will be quoted at the hotel’s discretion.

Delta Airlines is offering a two to 10 percent discount (depending on when you make your reservation and fare type selected) for Design Conference attendees flying into McCarran International Airport (LAS). When making your reservations online, select “Book a Trip”, then “Advanced Search”, and enter meeting event code NMMLT in the appropriate box. You can also receive the discount by calling 800 328 1111 and mentioning the same code but please note that Delta charges a fee for phone reservations.
Ground transportation to/from McCarran International Airport (LAS)

There will be a $100 cancellation fee for cancellations made prior to July 19, 2016. AIGA will refund 50 percent of conference fees paid for cancellations made between July 19 and September 13, 2016. No refunds will be available after September 13, 2016. All ticket sales for pre- and post-conference events are final, no refunds will be granted.
Your registration constitutes permission to use photos, audio and video recording taken of you at the event for promotional and educational purposes in connection with AIGA conferences and activities, in corresponding publications, in AIGA’s archives and on AIGA’s website.
Conference rates are based on membership status at the time of registration. Memberships are non-transferable.
Conference is subject to cancellation or change. Liability is limited to funds remitted for conference registration and sponsorship fees. Speakers are subject to change without prior notice.

AIGA recruits approximately 60 conference associates to help run the conference on site. Total working time during the conference is expected to be approximately 30 hours, and conference associates receive complimentary conference registration. Conference associates must be current AIGA members. Priority is given to AIGA student groups. In order to fairly offer volunteer opportunities to our diverse membership, there is a limit of 10 students per school.
NOTE: We are currently at capacity for volunteer positions. If you are an active AIGA member, you may add your name to the waitlist. You will not be contacted unless a volunteer opportunity becomes available.
Am I eligible for the educator rate?
At this time, the educator rate is available to AIGA members who identify as educators in the AIGA design community. The rate is determined by your current membership status.
Am I eligible for the student rate?
At this time, the student rate is available to AIGA members who identify as students in the AIGA design community. The rate is determined by your current membership status.
Can I register by mail?

Can we get a discount for group registrations?
At this time, there are no discounted group rates for the AIGA Design Conference.
What do registration fees cover and how are they set?
The registration fee for participants includes attendance at all conference mainstage and affinity sessions, and all evening receptions. Continental breakfast and light refreshment breaks will be provided on Tuesday and Wednesday. Lunch and dinner will be on your own. The fees are set to make the experience both memorable and affordable. Typically the per person cost of putting on the conference is about three times the registration fee.
Can I buy a one-day pass to the conference?
AIGA offers only full-conference registration to its events. The experience and the pricing for the conference are based on participants attending the entire conference. Based on experience, we have determined that it is neither economically nor administratively feasible for our small staff to offer partial registrations and to oversee compliance.
Do you offer any comp registrations?
We do not offer complimentary registrations to anyone, including board members and chapter leadership. This policy is based on a firm commitment to equity and fairness, out of respect to our customers who pay for the conference.
Will videos from the conference stream or be published online?
As a benefit to AIGA’s 25,000 members, we aim to share content from the conference, to allow attendees to relive the experience and non-attendees to begin to sample the unbeatable experience. Details will be shared closer to the event dates.
